That expired Portra 400 I shot in Seattle came out way different than fresh rolls
I found three rolls of Portra 400 in my dad's old fridge that expired in 2018 and took them on a trip to Pike Place Market. The colors shifted toward a weird greenish-yellow tint on half the shots, especially in the overcast light near the waterfront. Has anyone else seen expired film mess with shadows like that or was it just my bad luck?

My buddy picked up a few rolls of Fuji Superia 400 that expired in 2016 from a thrift store last year. He shot them on a cloudy day in Portland and the shadows came out this weird muddy purple color, almost like a bruise. He said the midtones looked fine but anything in deep shadow just went totally off, way worse than what you describe with the greenish yellow. It really messed up the whole vibe of the shots he was most excited about, like the ones under the bridges. He ended up having to do a ton of color correction in Lightroom to even make them usable. Did you try adjusting the white balance on those shots?
