Why does nobody talk about how bad air fryer salmon can turn out?
I was at my sister's place in Tacoma for dinner last month, and she made salmon in her air fryer. It came out so dry and flaky, like sawdust. In my experience, the high heat just cooks out all the moisture too fast if you don't add something extra. Now I always put a thin layer of mayo or Greek yogurt on my filets before cooking, which helps a lot. Has anyone found a better way to keep fish from drying out?

Totally get that dry salmon problem. I used to think air fryers were just bad for fish. Your mayo trick actually changed my mind. I tried it with a lemon garlic aioli last week and it was a total game changer. The fat creates a little barrier so the inside stays soft. Now I won't cook it any other way.

Wait, you used aioli instead of mayo, @hart.ryan?
