Tried to air fry a whole head of cauliflower like a steak.
I saw a video about it and thought it looked easy. I coated it in oil and spices, set the air fryer to 400 for 25 minutes. The outside got super dark and crispy fast, but the inside was still hard and cold. I had to cut it up and cook the pieces for another 15 minutes. Learned that dense stuff needs to be cut first, no matter what the video says. Anyone have a good time and temp for cauliflower florets so this doesn't happen again?

Why not just steam it first next time?

My grandma always said the steam makes the dough too sticky for her old hands.

Steaming it first would probably help a lot... I tried that once and it made the whole thing way easier to handle. The heat loosens everything up so you aren't fighting it the whole time. It just seems to go smoother and you get a better result in the end. Honestly, it's a step I should never skip.
