TIL my frozen french fry game was weak until I tried a trick from a friend in Austin
I used to just dump the bag straight into the basket and hope for the best, which gave me soggy fries half the time. Now I soak them in cold water for 30 minutes, pat them dry, and toss with a little oil before air frying. The difference is crazy, they come out way crispier. Has anyone else tried a pre-soak method with other frozen veggies?

Wait, you're telling me I've been eating sad, limp fries for years because I skipped a bath? I feel like my whole life is a lie now. Does this also work on frozen tater tots or am I destined for soggy potato nuggets forever? Guess I know what I'm ruining, I mean trying, this weekend.
