My neighbor in Portland gave me a weird tip for air fryer potatoes
Last month, she told me to soak the chopped potatoes in cold water for exactly 30 minutes before patting them dry. I was skeptical, but it made the outside so much crispier without burning. Has anyone else tried a specific soaking time that works better?

Try adding a little vinegar to the soaking water. It helps break down the starches even more for extra crispness without affecting the taste. That trick was a total game changer for my home fries.
