That vintage lens adapter gave my portraits a look I cant fake digitally
I put a 1978 Pentax 50mm on my Sony last week and the flare and softness at f/1.4 came out way more organic than any AI preset Ive tried, even with 3 different prompt tweaks. Anyone else found old glass beats a filter for that film vibe?

Man I feel this, my vintage glass just makes me look like I actually know what I'm doing when really I'm just praying the focus ring lands somewhere near their eyeball. Every digital filter I try just makes me miss the days when the lens did the heavy lifting and my only job was not dropping the camera.
