Spent $40 on an AI that writes my lesson plans and it backfired spectacularly

I saw an ad for a new AI tool that promised to generate custom lesson plans in minutes, so I paid for a month. The first one it gave me was about the 'geometric principles of dinosaur bone structure' for a 7th grade math class. The second suggested a group activity where students simulate a stock market crash using candy, which just caused a food fight. After three tries, I had to scrap all of them and start from scratch at 10 PM. Has anyone actually found an AI that can handle the chaos of middle school curriculum without going off the rails?

Yeah, that "basic outline" method Claire mentioned is the only way I've made AI work for planning too. It gives you a starting point without the weird tangents.

Ugh, that sounds so familiar. I had better luck just using the free version of ChatGPT to make a basic outline, then filling in the real stuff myself.

Oh man, you're asking the wrong guy. I deal with broken tech all day and this just sounds like another overhyped tool. Those weird outputs prove my point, AI doesn't get context like a human. You're better off using your own brain than trusting some random app that just mashes words together. Save your money next time.
