My trip to the 'Survivor' filming beach was ruined by superfans debating old votes

The whole time, people were rehashing tribal council moves (it killed the vibe). How do you handle these situations when visiting famous reality spots? Any advice would be great.

What I do is put in earbuds and play some music, have you tried that? In my experience, you can just walk a bit down the beach to get away from the chatter. I also find that asking a simple question about the area to someone else can shift the talk. Really, you have to just do your own thing and let them have their fun. Your mileage may vary, but focusing on the place itself usually works for me.

Genuinely shocked you can just ask strangers questions to steer chat. Tried that once at a beach, got stuck for 20 minutes hearing about a guy's timeshare. My luck, I'd pick the one person who wants a new best friend. Much easier to just keep walking until their voices fade out. I'm sticking with the earbuds plan.

Totally! Sometimes I'll even turn the music up JUST enough to drown them out but still hear the waves. Honestly half the battle is tricking your brain into focusing on your own vibe instead of theirs.
