Rant: I skip home staging and my places still move quick.

Letting folks see the empty space works better for their vision. Saving that money goes right back into the next project.

Wow, this makes so much sense. I used to think you had to stage everything to make it appealing. But seeing buyers get excited about blank spaces really changed my mind. My cousin picked an apartment because she could instantly picture her own couch there, not some staged prop.

Empty rooms can actually work against you in my experience. Buyers often have a hard time figuring out scale or how their stuff would even fit in a big blank space. A well placed couch shows the room's purpose and makes it feel livable right away. It gives people a starting point for their own ideas instead of leaving them guessing. That foundation of a staged room seems to help more folks connect emotionally with the place.
