Rant: Modern chargers ruined my old phone habits

Used to keep a Nokia 3310 charged for 4 days straight, now I panic if my iPhone hits 80%. Swapped back to a 2006 Motorola Razr last month and forgot how good it felt to not watch the battery meter. The USB-C adapter setup in my Chicago apartment takes up more space than the whole flip phone itself. Anybody else ditch their smartphone for a weekend just to reset their charging brain?
