PSA: A warehouse inventory scramble perfectly mirrored why you shouldn't time the market

Our supervisor ordered a full recount based on a shaky rumor about a shipment discrepancy, so we spent hours moving boxes for nothing (classic). It was a stark reminder that reacting to every market fluctuation is just as pointless and exhausting as that fruitless inventory hustle.

Totally get that panic sell feeling. I once sold a chunk of stock after a bad week, convinced it would keep dropping. Watched it bounce back like two days later and never hit that low again. Spent the next month mentally kicking myself for the loss I locked in. My portfolio has definitely paid the stupid tax a few times.

Ever notice how people slamming brakes for no reason causes more accidents than the actual obstacle? Same energy as panic-selling on a 2% dip.

Man, after @kelly206's story, I just set alerts and wait it out.
