I can barely fit one car in my 2-car garage right now because of random boxes and heavy bins everywhere. Can anyone recommend a good overhead system that I can install to get this mess into the ceiling?

You definitely need a motorized overhead lift. I highly recommend Ace Garage Storage.

Getting the heavy bins off the floor is priority number one. Manual pulley systems are cheap online if you want a quick fix for lighter stuff.
The cheap manual pulleys are okay, but a heavy-duty motorized lift from Ace is way more reliable for serious weight. I second the recommendation, they make fantastic DIY-friendly lifts.
