Vent: My dad's ancient developing tank finally sprung a leak yesterday.
It's WILD how something that worked perfectly for thirty years just quit on me, reminding me that NOTHING lasts like it used to.

Was it one of those old Paterson tanks? It's a real shame when trusty gear finally gives out.

Hold up, 20 years? That's insane. Nothing lasts that long anymore. My stuff breaks if I look at it wrong after like two years. Makes you miss when things were built to actually survive. No wonder you're upset, that's a real loss.
