Ever consider if soggy socks or flopping soles are worse to walk in? You still gotta get down that hill somehow.

Ugh, I mean that sounds like the worst timing but honestly the rain might have been a blessing. My boots started leaking months ago and walking in wet socks is way worse than knowing ahead of time. At least you found out right when you needed to replace them.

Walking in wet socks is brutal, for sure. When my boots gave out, I learned to slap on some duct tape as a quick fix until I could get new ones. It's not pretty, but it keeps your feet dry for a bit.
