That time my coworker vanished from a video call mid-sentence

We were in a team meeting on Zoom. Sarah was talking and then she just froze, but her audio kept going for a bit. They say it was a network drop, but I saw her background change right before. It felt like she jumped to another call without leaving. I can't shake the feeling something was off.

Yeah, my friend had a thing like that happen. His whole video froze but his mic was still live, and he was just talking to an empty room for a full minute. Good call by @the_riley, we did check the recording later and his cat had knocked a picture off the wall right before he froze, which explained the weird background shift. Still felt super strange in the moment though.
