Rant: Stop stacking plastic bins on bare concrete floors
I pulled out my winter gear last week and found three bins with cracked bottoms, all sitting directly on the garage slab. The cold transfers moisture through the concrete and makes cheap polypropylene brittle over time, especially around the corners. I know because I replaced six bins in the last two years before I finally put down a half-inch sheet of plywood under the stack. Has anyone else lost bins to this, or do you use pallets or something else that actually works?
