Hot take: magnetic word kits work better when you ditch the blank side

Everyone in this group seems to only use the word tiles face up, but after 3 months of hitting the same boring combos on my fridge in Austin, I flipped every tile over and wrote my own words with a sharpie. That opened up way more options for weird poems about my neighbor's barking dog and the burnt toast incident last Tuesday. The kit's preset words are too safe, too polite, and honestly, they read like a greeting card threw up. Anyone else customize their tiles or am I the only one who hates the stock vocabulary?
