My accountant told me to raise my rates by 20% last quarter

Honestly, I was scared I'd lose my regular clients, but I only had one person leave and my income went up a lot. Ngl, I wish I'd done it sooner instead of just taking whatever work came my way. Has anyone else had a specific piece of advice that felt risky but paid off big?

How much did you actually raise them? I'm thinking of doing the same but 20% seems huge.
