Had to draw a line when a client expected me to hide project flaws

Turning down that job was scary, but sleeping at night is worth more than any paycheck.

My buddy runs a web design firm in Austin. He once had a client ask him to hide big problems in a project. Saying no cost him a lot of money at the time. But it kept his good name clean for future work. What you did is brave, and it's the smart choice. No amount of cash is worth losing sleep over bad work.

Please, cash now beats maybe getting work later.

My uncle's old boss in Tampa took those shady deals for years. Honestly, the stress made him sick and he lost his house anyway. Tbh, clean work lets you sleep at night, and that's a kind of payment too.
