Question about mixing with that 'vintage iron gall' ink from the craft store
I wasted $28 and two good nibs trying to get it to flow right before I found out it's basically just brown paint with gum arabic and not meant for pens at all.

That's a real shame about the nibs. Makes you wonder how many other products are sold in the craft aisle that look like ink but are really just for dipping. Did the bottle have any kind of warning label at all, or was it totally misleading?

Ugh, that's brutal. I tried using walnut ink once with similar disastrous results. Some stuff is just for dip pens, period.
