Showerthought: I used to skip the first season of 'The Expanse'
I always told people to start with season 2 because the plot was faster, but I rewatched the first four episodes last week. Seeing the crew of the Rocinante, especially Naomi and Amos, start to trust each other on that ice hauler made me realize I was missing the whole 'found' part of their family. It's all in those early, slow moments on the Canterbury. Anyone else have a show where the setup is actually the most important bit?

Ever skip a show's intro season only to realize it's the emotional core later? That slow burn on the Canterbury is what makes the Roci's later loyalty hit so hard. What's another show where the boring start is secretly the whole point?

Nah, skipping the boring parts is just good time management.
