My sister told me to skip the first season of 'The Expanse' because it was slow

I mean, she was totally wrong, idk, because that's where the whole crew on the Rocinante really starts to become a family. Has anyone else had advice that made you miss the start of a great found family story?

Totally agree with @kai_west, the slow start IS the whole point.

Yeah skipping that is wild advice. The slow burn is what makes you care about them all. My own bad advice has definitely made me miss some good setup before.
