Can we talk about how the found family in 'The Expanse' starts with a stolen ship?
I finally watched the whole show last month, and the crew of the Rocinante felt like a real group of friends from the start. But in the first book, they're basically strangers thrown together by a huge mess on the Canterbury. The show made them feel like a family way faster... it changed the whole feel. Has anyone else noticed how different shows handle that first 'click' moment?
First family dinner" is a stretch. The real first one was on the Falcon, right after they escaped the Death Star. Han, Luke, Leia, Chewie, and the droids all sitting around that little table. That's the classic scene. The stolen ship moment is more like a tense reunion.
The Falcon's galley table is the real one. Four humans, a Wookiee, and two droids sharing a meal. That stolen ship scene is just them yelling over engine noise.
