Warning: Keep helpers from wrecking fresh glue with one simple trick
Lay down colored tape to show safe walking areas before they start. It avoids messed up glue and makes the whole day easier.

Why haven't I seen this tape trick before? Last time I helped with a floor, we just guessed where to walk, and of course someone stepped in the wet glue. Had to stop and clean it up, which took forever. Your idea would have made the whole thing way smoother.

Yeah, guessing where to walk is just asking for trouble. We used blue painter's tape to mark a path and it kept everyone on track. Made the whole glue-up way less stressful.

Wait, you guys just guessed where to walk, @abby_king22? My dad tried that once and left a perfect sneaker print trail right through the new kitchen glue. We had to sand the whole section again and it looked awful. The colored tape idea seems so obvious now, like why didn't we just do that? It would have saved us a whole weekend of fixing his mistake.
