Had to choose between a $50 used soldering iron or a $20 new one for my first Game Boy repair. Went with the used Weller and it was a game changer.

Totally agree about the used Weller being a game changer! I grabbed a used one years ago and it just works so much better than the cheap ones. That extra heat control makes all the difference.
