Read a study that said 40% of sunscreen users apply less than half the needed amount
I was looking at some research from a skin health journal last month. They had people measure out their sunscreen in a lab, and the average person used only about a quarter of a teaspoon for their face and neck. That's way under the two-finger rule amount we all talk about. It really hit me how big the gap is between what we know and what clients actually do at home. How do you guys get the full application message to stick without sounding like a broken record?

The two-finger rule is for face and neck together, which works out to about half a teaspoon. Olivia478, a quarter teaspoon is just for the face alone, so you're right for that smaller area. The study's average of a quarter teaspoon for both face and neck is definitely too little. It's tricky because people don't realize how much the neck needs too.
