Wasted $85 on a cheap soldering station that died after 3 weeks
Bought one of those no-name stations on Amazon to save a few bucks and the iron stopped heating completely. Had to finish my client's motherboard repair with my old Hakko anyway. Anyone else get burned by a budget station before?

Did the same thing a couple years back. Picked up a cheap station from a tool outlet and the tip wouldn't even get hot after a month. Went back to my old Weller and never looked back.
