Warning: that new wire pulling gel I bought was a total mess

I saw a bunch of guys online talking about this fancy gel for pulling wire through conduit. Figured I'd give it a shot for a big job I had last month, cost me about $40 for the jug. It was way too thick and sticky, got all over my hands and the wire, and honestly made the pull harder than just using the old soap I keep in the truck. Cleanup took forever too. Anyone have a brand of lubricant they actually like that isn't a nightmare to deal with?

Used to think the expensive stuff had to be better. That sticky mess proved me wrong. Now I just grab the basic soap from the supply house.
