Spent 3 hours chasing a drip in my head only to find a loose hose clamp I could have tightened in 30 seconds

I was ready to swear off boat life forever until my neighbor came over and pointed at the one clamp I'd missed under the sink, which made me feel like a total amateur but at least the leak is gone now, has anyone else had a fix that took way longer than it should have because you overthought the problem?

I mean, people act like a leaky hose clamp is some kind of life or death boat problem. It's a drip, not a hole in the hull. You probably would have found it eventually anyway, and now you'll never forget that spot under the sink.
