Update: My dredge pump clogged again yesterday
I'm so fed up with the constant pump clogs! We lost a full day of dredging because of it yesterday. The sediment was extra gritty this time, which didn't help!

My neighbor's pool pump does that every summer, total nightmare.

Last year in Tucson, our pool pump started making a grinding noise every afternoon. I used to think it was just a minor annoyance, not a big deal. But when it broke down during a heat wave and cost $500 to fix, I totally changed my mind. Now I hear every little sound and panic, lol.

Actually, that grinding noise usually means the bearings are going... you can catch it early for way less than $500. Learned that the hard way too.
