That Tuesday the cutterhead jammed 7 times before noon
We were dredging a tight spot near the old bridge pilings on the Chattahoochee and kept hitting rebar and scrap that wrapped around the teeth like Christmas tinsel, had to stop and clear it every 45 minutes for half a shift. Has anyone else dealt with a stretch of river that just seems cursed with buried debris?

Spent a month on the Arkansas River where we pulled up an entire old car frame, piece by piece, over three days. Still not sure how it got there.
