Switched from spray paint to dollar store acrylics for my plant pots last weekend

I always thought spray paint was faster until I tried doing a gradient with a cheap sponge brush and those $1.25 craft paints - the control is way better and no overspray headache. Has anyone else found a dollar store product that made you ditch the expensive stuff?

That whole "ditch the expensive stuff" pattern is real across the board. Once you realize cheap stuff just takes a little more patience, it's hard to go back to the fancy brands for most projects.

I read somewhere 90% of the time cheap paint works just as well. Totally agree @elliotl24.
