Decided between a hot glue gun and super glue for a dollar store picture frame fix
I was making a collage frame with four $1.25 frames from Dollar Tree and the backing on one just fell off. I went with the hot glue because it seemed stronger, but it made a big mess on the glass. Anybody else have trouble getting hot glue off dollar store stuff once it dries?

Honestly hot glue and dollar store stuff is a cursed combo for real lol. The glass is so thin and cheap that the glue just bonds to it like cement and then you're scraping for ages. I've noticed this pattern where the cheaper the material, the more likely the glue is gonna leave a permanent ghostly haze or a scratch. It's like the universe reminding you that saving 50 cents means spending 10 minutes cleaning up. Next time try basic super glue but put just a tiny dot on the cardboard backing not the frame itself, it dries clear and doesn't turn into a horror show.
