The $8 spray bottle that fixed my watering routine
Read a post last week about misting vs pouring and realized my succulents were drowning because I used a squeeze bottle with a too-big nozzle. Swapped to a fine mist sprayer at the dollar store and now my moss layer finally stays damp without pooling, has anyone else found cheap tools beat fancy kits this way?

Wait, you were using a squeeze bottle with a big nozzle on succulents? Those things basically need zero water, so I'm surprised they survived at all. Mine would have rotted within a week if I'd been dumping water on them like that. The fine mist thing makes so much sense though, it gives the moss a chance to drink without soaking the roots. Dollar store stuff wins again, honestly half my plant gear is from there or the thrift store and it works just as good as the pricey stuff. People overthink this hobby way too much sometimes.
