Rent a heated floor saw instead of buying one, trust me on this

3 years ago I bought a $450 wet saw for a 400 sq ft tile job in my Denver basement. Used it twice, then it sat in my garage collecting rust. Last month my neighbor needed to cut porcelain and I lent it to him, the blade was toast and the motor sounded like a blender full of rocks. Renting from Home Depot runs like $65 a day and they maintain the thing. I get the appeal of owning tools, but for a one time job the math just doesn't work unless you tile every year. Anyone else regret dropping cash on a big tool they barely touch?
