Pro tip: LED shop lights beat fluorescents every time
I swapped my garage from 4 old fluorescent tubes to 2 LED strips and the brightness difference is insane for about the same $50 cost. Has anyone else noticed their electric bill actually dropped too?

Wait, did you actually try to twist the tubes out while they were still locked in, @skylerc86? You gotta push them in and rotate first or they'll snap and youll have mercury all over the floor. The real win with LEDs though is how they run cooler, since less electricity gets wasted as heat.
