Rant: I always thought you needed special tools to fix a wobbly ceiling fan
I was watching a home repair video from a channel called 'Fix It Fast' and the guy said you can usually fix a wobble just by tightening the screws on the mounting bracket with a regular screwdriver. I tried it on my fan in the living room and it worked perfectly in about ten minutes. Has anyone else found a simple fix for something they thought was a big job?

Honestly, I'm with @barnes.brian on this one. Those balancing kits exist for a reason, a lot of wobbles come from the blades being out of whack, not just loose screws. Tightening it might just be a temporary fix.

Wait, you fixed it with just a regular screwdriver? I was convinced you needed one of those long, skinny screwdrivers to even reach the screws up there. I spent like forty bucks on a special fan balancing kit last year, the one with the little weights and the clip. Are you telling me I just needed to tighten a few screws this whole time?
