Plywood prices got me looking back at 2019 receipts

I was cleaning out my shop last weekend and found a receipt for 3/4 inch sanded plywood. April 2019, $38 a sheet at the big box store. I just paid $84 for the same thing two days ago. I knew prices went up but that hit different. Is anyone else just waiting for lumber to drop back down, or have you found a better source than the home centers lately?
