That $60 espresso dosing funnel was a total waste for me

I bought this fancy magnetic dosing funnel off Amazon thinking it would reduce mess, but it just wobbled on my portafilter and coffee went everywhere anyway. After 3 mornings of frustration, I switched to a $3 DIY funnel made from a yoghurt cup - works way better and cost nothing. Anyone else regret spending on flashy accessories?

Hold on, is this really that big of a deal though? It's a funnel, not a car payment. You're acting like it ruined your whole week, but you just returned a gadget that didn't work. I guess for @mark_hernandez12 it sounds like the same story, but honestly, a yoghurt cup is fine if it works. Maybe we all just need to stop overthinking coffee gear and use whatever gets the grounds in the basket.
