Had to choose between a lawyer or a paper filer for my CA appeal
My first denial came back in March and I couldn't afford both a disability attorney and a medical records service, so I went with the $350 paper filer from Stockton to organize my 400 pages of files. They flagged two missing psychiatrist notes from 2021 that I tracked down myself, and my reconsideration went through in 11 weeks. Did anyone else skip the lawyer route and get approved on their own?

Wow, you basically did the lawyer's legwork yourself and saved thousands! If more people asked the paper filer what was missing instead of panicking about the denial, way more folks would win at reconsideration.
