Took 3 days to get reliable internet in Medellin, not 3 hours
I rolled into El Poblado expecting coworking spots everywhere, but every cafe I tried had worse wifi than my truck stop back home. Signed up for a local eSIM after 2 days of running on phone hotspots that dropped during every video call. The third day I gave up, walked into a Claro store, and paid $18 for a prepaid plan that finally held a stable connection. Why does every blog make this sound like a 10 minute task? Anyone else burn a whole week just getting basic setup done in a new city?
