The gallery owner in Santa Fe laughed at my tablet stylus holder

I showed up to a small digital art showcase with my stylus taped to a foam block, and the owner said 'is that your backup plan or your main setup?', so now I keep a proper drawing glove and a magnetic clip in my truck for every event, has anyone else gotten roasted for their mobile rig at a showcase?
