Saw a digital art piece in a Seattle coffee shop that made me do a double take
It was a hyper-realistic portrait of a barista, but the steam from the coffee was animated into tiny flying cats. Has anyone else found weird animated art in unexpected places lately?

Ever see those digital frames in hotel lobbies? I found one last week showing a normal landscape that slowly filled with cartoon snails. It's the small, weird details that make public art fun.

Ever notice how the best public art feels like a secret handshake? I saw a bus stop bench shaped like a giant slice of toast, and a crosswalk painted to look like piano keys. It's like the city is winking at you, breaking up the boring gray concrete with a joke only people paying attention will get. Those snails are a perfect example.
