Dropped $180 on a drawing tablet last month and it basically collected dust until I changed one setting
I grabbed a used Wacom Intuos Pro off Facebook Marketplace for $180 about six weeks ago, thinking I could jump right into digital painting. For the first two weeks my lines looked like shaky spaghetti and I almost went back to paper. Turns out my pressure curve was set way too flat in the driver, so the pen was either full blast or nothing. I bumped the curve up and now my line work actually looks like my sketchbook stuff. If you switched to digital and hated it, did you mess with your pen settings or just give up?
