So I had like 6 coupons for stuff that was already on sale, plus a digital one I clipped in the app, and I was feeling pretty smug about it. The cashier scanned everything and the machine just froze, then this loud error beep went off and the screen said 'PLEASE SEE ATTENDANT' in red letters. The manager came over and said I had stacked two coupons that were both marked 'one per transaction' and he had to void the whole order and start over. I ended up saving $12.40 instead of the $31 I did the math for in my head, but hey, still a win. Anyone else get burned by the fine print on those digital coupon apps?
