My uncle swore Costco marked down rotisserie chicken at 8pm, and I proved him wrong 3 trips in a row
He told me to hit the Clifton, NJ location right before close for $2.99 birds, but the deli guy there told me they toss leftovers instead of discounting them, so now I want to know which stores actually do the after-hours meat markdowns.

Oh man, your uncle is not alone. I heard the same thing from a buddy about the one in Wayne and wasted two late night trips. The meat guy flat out laughed at me and said the birds go straight in the trash once they hit the two hour mark. Same deal at the one in Totowa, no markdowns on the hot ones, but I did catch the cold rotisserie packs in the fridge case get cut to like four bucks some nights.
