Took me 11 hours to figure out my spacebar was binding because of one tiny solder blob on the stab wire

Check the stab wire again because solder blob is usually not the real problem there. A blob on the wire itself would sit outside the housing and barely touch anything, so the binding was probably lube gunk or a bent wire end catching inside the stab. Pop the stab out and look at where the wire actually rubs, that is where the drag comes from.
