TIL most people are using way too much lube on their stabilizer wires, and it's why their spacebars still rattle after a $200 build.
I saw a streamer in Austin use just a tiny dot of dielectric grease on the wire ends instead of slathering the whole thing, and my spacebar went silent on the first try, so has anyone else found a specific lube amount that works perfectly?

Ever try just a grain of rice sized amount?

Oh man, the lube struggle is real. I used to dunk my stabilizer wires in grease like they were french fries in a milkshake. No wonder my spacebar sounded like a maraca filled with angry bees. That tiny dot method is a game changer, isn't it? It's like we all got tricked into thinking more goop equals more quiet.

My buddy Chris lubed his whole board with what looked like a whole tube of 205g0. The keys were so sticky, his W key didn't come back up for a full day. He had to take the whole thing apart again and clean it off with a paintbrush.
