My buddy's take on stabilizer rattle made me hear my whole board differently

He said 'if you can hear your spacebar from across the room, you didn't lube it, you just hid it' and now I'm tearing down a build I finished last Tuesday to redo the stabs, has anyone else had a single comment wreck their whole setup like that?

Wait, did your buddy also happen to mention that hearing your stabs is basically free ASMR for people who hate you? I swear, one comment about my switch ping turned me into a full-on detective with a screwdriver and a syringe of grease.
