Gateron Reds and lubed Cherry Blacks are worlds apart and I finally get why
Built my first board back in 2019 with stock Gateron Reds and thought that was just how linears felt, kinda scratchy and hollow. Then a guy at the Columbus meetup let me try his lubed Cherry Blacks with 205g0 and filmed springs, and the difference was night and day, smooth and deep instead of thin and pingy. Now I keep a jar of lube and a switch opener on my desk like it's normal. Anyone else remember the first time a properly tuned switch ruined all your old builds for you?
